This Is a poem I wrote as an assignment that ended up being me venting into writting(but i'm not really as depressed as this poem may sound)...it reminded me a little of "Rainy Day" so here it is...
Running in the Rain
If you haven't run in the rain
You don’t know its sharp pain
You’ve never felt an icy chill running down your spine
You don’t know how much your heart can really ache, screaming for air as it is being drowned in the ice of the world
You’ve never felt yourself melt ever so slowly, blending in with the pools of ice water drip, drop dropping drowning your sole*
You know what it feels like to be surrounded by bright rays of love
If you haven’t run in the rain
You don’t know what it’s like to be torn to nothing by the world around you
You’ve never had to fight for all that’s good and right
You don’t know how to stand on your own
You’ve never had to choose between speeding up slowly killing yourself from the outside in
You know what it’s like to see a rainbow and not wince from horrid memories of rain
If you have run in the rain, you know how harsh life really is…
What it feels like to feel stares of ice force you down.
Who is really there for you when everything good around you is being lost to a monstrous, roaring storm
If you have run in the rain you know how it feels to have drops of ocean water stream down your face until all goes dark waking the oppression of deep welcoming yet distant clouds
To go out into the world and have not one to lean on when you begin to drown
If you have run in the rain you have faced beings that throw you in a pit of pestimism* where you are
pummeled with icy rain.
You know how hard it is to have a happy heart if you have run in the rain
You have cried…you have laughed…you have loved, forgiven and lived

What are your rainy day experiences or stories? How did you solve them? Who did you turn to in those times?
P.S. Sorry about it bein so long

Hey, this a great poem. Very poetic and emotional. :P
But yeah I understand what you mean - rainy days can mean really tough times in someones life, but through compassion and love, there's always a silver lining to every cloud and someday the rain will stop and through the clear, open sky a rainbow will appear and true love will prevail
Just my thoughts
have a great day!
