Bon Jour!

We are in Montreal today, on tour with Snow Patrol and we are having the time of our lives! The Snow Patrol guys are super cool, and the crowds have been amazing. We are also debuting a brand new song in our set called Boomerang! After this tour we are going into the studio to make a new record, so this will be the final tour supporting the Big Bad World record. It sucks that we never made it out of North America on this one, but we promise we will go everywhere on tour for our next album! American fans come see us with Snow Patrol! See you soon...

I’ve been listening to your music for years and without exaggeration, it totally saved me. Nothing extremely dramatic, but when I say you saved me, I mean from the little things that can make a huge impact, like giving up on myself and giving up on the world around me.

One big thing you stopped me from giving up on is love. Between my parents separating and seeing a bunch of break ups between friends and their sweethearts, it scared me out of thinking love could exist in anything (except for the movies!).

“Shine” saved me from making stupid decisions, “Someday” gave me hope for the future world, “Meet Me In California” gave me the encouragement I need to continue toward my dream as a photographer in California, “Come Back To Me” saved a relationship between me and someone, and “1234” helped me believe in love again.

You guys are amazing with the impact you can make on people – I was looking forward to your concert in Philadelphia on the 19^th and seeing the people who kept me on my feet! It turned out my mom gave me the wrong date, so you can imagine the look on my face as I sat in the Starbucks across from the TLA on the 20^th and saw the actual date sprawled all over the ticket. Talk about near tears after waiting so long!
