Summer Tour!

Wow it's been a while since I've checked into my PWTs account. I just got home a couple days ago after wrapping up the first leg of the Three Part Harmony tour. I had a really good time on this tour. For one, the support bands were AWESOME - Single File, such good dudes who have been hard at work for many years. I first met those guys on Warped Tour 2005, so it was great having them out. Vedera! Such a talented, sweet group of people. The Februarys, my new Canadian friends! They were only on tour with us for a week but they were wonderful and so much fun to have on tour. And of course, my boys in Danger Radio. I didn't want to say goodbye to them, I want to carry them all in my pocket forever.

At the end of April / early May, we had five incredible shows supporting the ridiculously talented Jason Mraz. Not only is he probably one of the most underrated vocalists I've ever seen perform live, he's also one of the most upstanding dudes we've ever had the honor of touring with. He keeps his tours very eco friendly, even his merchandise is recycled materials and earth-friendly cotton!

As sad as it was to say goodbye to everyone, the tour ended with a show in Honolulu, Hawaii which is my HOME STATE! We got to spend four wonderful days there. I went snorkeling with Dave, Mike, and their ladies, and then took them to the North Shore for more beaches and delicious Hawaiian food. Everyone came over to my parents' house for a BBQ one night which was really cool. We had a great time and the show was awesome. Unfortunately, we could only spend four days there.... and we took a red eye to Indianapolis to play the Indy 500. Pretty cool deal, the cars were so loud! I wanted to stay and ride in one of the cars around the track, but Tim and I flew out right after the show to Santa Barbara to see one my absolute favorite bands play, KINGS OF LEON.

So that brings me up to date I think. I have a few weeks at home before I meet back up with the guys. We have another leg of the Three Part Harmony tour coming up, mostly EAST COAST dates which I am very excited about! New York City was my home for five years, so the east coast feels very comfortable to me. If you've been living under a rock lately, here are the tour dates:

Company of Thieves are a great band from Chicago, and Days Difference is an up and coming band from Virginia Beach that Tom worked with recently. I'm excited to have both on tour with us.
